How do I switch prepaid providers?
Of course! It is possible to transfer your current prepaid number to TalkTalk Prepaid.
Steps to transfer your number to TalkTalk Prepaid:
1. Sign up for TalkTalk Prepaid - either online or visit us in a mobilezone store.
2. During registration, set the date you want to switch.
3. If you plan to keep your prepaid number, send a confirmation text message with the word 'YES' to 499.
4. You will receive an SMS notification of the scheduled transfer date.
5. If your current SIM card is no longer in use on the date you set, the switching process is complete. Now you can use your new TalkTalk SIM card.
Important information:
- The entire changeover process takes at least 6 business days. Consider this period in your planning.
- The transfer takes place only on regular working days, not on public holidays or weekends.
- Occasionally there may be minor delays in the switching process. Your current SIM card will remain active until the switch is complete.
